Synopsis du film

Un biopic sur la joueuse de tennis Billie Jean King, connue pour son combat en faveur du droit des femmes et son match contre le joueur Bobby Riggs. En 1973, âgée de 29 ans, elle affronte dans un match Bobby Riggs, âgé de 55 ans, qui déclarait que le tennis masculin était supérieur au tennis féminin. Elle remporta largement la rencontre donnant ainsi une gifle à la vanité masculine.
